Here are some of the other human tongues out there that someone in Cynalon might speak. There are other human languages in other lands:

Nithian - Very old, written version is hieroglyphics. Primarily known by those interested in ancient history and scholars.

Alphatian - May also be called Kelnish or Phelganess.

Thothian - Modern version of Nithian.

Thyatian - Offical language of that empire.

Jennite - Core language of the Jennite people.

Elder - Ancient language. Only exists as a written version.

Cynalonian - The "Common" language.

Atruaghin - Core language of those tribes.

Konnazan - Language of that island.

Ierendi - Language of that island.

Midani - Common language of the land of Fate. Known primarily among merchants who deal with those lands.

Just like humans, elves and dwarves have variations of their own tongues.

Elves - Dorwynn Elfhold elves usually speak Callarii. Other versions include Vyalia, Erwan and Shiye-lawr. The latter being from Alphatian Elves.

Dwarves - Rockhome is the cradle of dwarven civilization. Hence their version is considered "true dwarvish". This core language is called Dengar. Other dialects includ Dethek.

Languages can come in 3 written forms: some form of alphabet, runes, or pictographs.

Racial Appearances for Humans:

Here are some general traits...

Common Alphatian - Skin tone is golden to coppery brown. Hair is gold to brown, with many redheads. Eyes are normally brown, gold, hazel or amber. Eyes are usually almond shaped or slightly slanted. Common Alphatian are typically tall and slender with delicate bones and facial structure.

Pure Alphatian - Very pale skin tone, nearly white with bluish tints. Hair color is black. Eyes are black, blue and even purple. Eyes tend to be more round. They are tall and slender.

Thothians - Light brown complexion, brown eyes, brown and black hair, short but powerfully built.

Jennites - Deep red-brown complexion. Brown or black hair & eyes. Average height, lithe & strong build. Jennites use war paints before battles, especially blues.

Thyatians & Kerendians - Light olive skin tone, light to dark brown hair, eyes usually brown, but blue is not uncommon, average height, solid build, wide brow and prominent nose.

Cynalonian - Fair skin to light tanned. Hair ranging from light blonde to black. Eyes brown or blue. Average height and features.

Konnazian - Light coppery skin. Hair is dark to red in color. Eyes are dark, green not uncommon. Very tall and lean.

Ierendi - Light coppery skin. Hair is light to dark in color. Eyes are usually light colored. Average height and build.

These are generalizations. Actual characters can differ.
